1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using SlotSync ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including business owners, staff members, and end clients who interact with the platform.
2. Description of Service
SlotSync is a cloud-based booking and business management platform designed for beauty, wellness, and personal care businesses. The Service includes appointment scheduling, client management, online booking, point of sale, staff management, marketing tools, and related features as described on our website.
3. Accounts & Registration
- You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
- One person or business may not maintain more than one free trial account at a time.
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
4.1 Free Trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to core features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.
4.2 Paid Plans
SlotSync offers Solo, Team, Business, and Enterprise plans. Plan details, pricing, and feature availability are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice.
4.3 Payment
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. You authorise us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.
4.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it
- Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided API
6. Your Data & Content
6.1 Ownership
You retain all rights to the data and content you upload to the Service ("Your Data"). We do not claim ownership of Your Data.
6.2 Licence
You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, and display Your Data solely to provide the Service to you.
6.3 Data Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that any personal data you store in the Service (including client records) is collected and processed in compliance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR). You must have appropriate consent or legal basis to store client information.
6.4 Data Export & Deletion
You may export Your Data at any time. Upon account termination, we will delete Your Data within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by SlotSync and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers (e.g., Stripe for payments, Google for authentication). Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control, including internet outages, hosting provider issues, or force majeure events.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlotSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay fees when due. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta.
